A lot of people here said to order a size smaller than what you are because they run big. This is definitely correct! I ordered the one with the birds all over it to see if it was appropriate for a singing group that I am in. It was perfect! Well made and extremely flattering. After seeing me in the dress, the group decided to go with the Burgundy colored ones. We are very pleased with our purchases. The picture is of the ladies in our singing group. I usually wear a large. Ordered a medium. It pulled around the chest (I am only a 36A) so, though the medium was too small around the chest, l can't go with a large because I would be swimming in it. The material had a strange heavy feel to it. I prefer light weight because I live in the desert. I think this style would be perfect for the right body type which isn't mine. Based on my experience, if you are large chested and curvy go with the size you normally wear. If you are small chested and less curvy go with a size smaller.I bought the floral print and LOVE it. I feel like a 1950s Goddess. I was leaning towards the solid colors, but it's for my 30th birthday and thought "if there was ever a time for a (for me) loud dress, this is it. I'm so happy with this purchase. As far as the fit, I'm 6 feet tall and usually a size 12 in dresses; I ordered the large and it fits just fine, but is maybe a little large. I'd say that if you're a size 10-12, go for the Medium. like everyone said, the fabric has a lot of stretch. I might still return mine for a medium- I'm undecided. For all my tall girls out there, I know you're wondering about the length: IT'S PERFECT. Like I said, I'm 6 feet tall and it hits me right at the knees.I absolutely loved my dress!! I followed the size chart and it was a perfect fit! Adding the petticoat gave it extra flare!I love this dress! It's great for swing dancing, there is enough stretch that when you lift your arms during a spin, you aren't going to bust any seams. I'm 5'3, 122lbs and the Medium fits well. It's more of a tea length on me, but add a tulle 50's slip underneath and wow, it really adds to the style!I got this in blue for a spring wedding we attended, I also have it in red for the holidays, dark green for anytime of the year, and also black because every girl needs a LBD and this style cannot be beat!The skirt is a fabulous when dancing, but it will show your underclothes if you don't wear dance bloomers or a slip.Fits well. Near impossible to ironI bought this dress in an XL peach a few years ago (2017 or 2018 I think?) and loved it. I had an event coming up, but I've gained some weight, so the peach one was a little too small (I can get into it, but it's too tight for my tastes). So I returned here, and I ordered an XXL in red. I'm really disappointed to say it is even smaller than the peach dress, both in width and length. I could get it on, surprisingly; I noticed it looked small taking it out of the package. It is definitely shorter (though only by a couple inches, so not a deal breaker for me at 5'7") and a little tigher than the peach even though it's marked as a size larger. The fabric also isn't quite as soft as the peach; it's definitely a little stiffer. I hate it when the manufacturer changes a good thing. Will be returning and unlikely to repurchase.For reference, I'm usually an 18-20 at regular stores, a 20-22 at Amazon, so in that way, I guess this is more accurate/ consistent to what I'm finding at Amazon now.This is a fabulous dress. Comments every time I wear them.Ich bin total begeistert. Das Kleid wurde sehr schnell geliefert und ist wirklich schön. Ich hab es als Superschnäppchen für 9,99€ in den Blitzangeboten bekommen. Es passt super (bei Gr. 44 obenrum hab ich Gr XL genommen) und fällt sehr schön. Unten am Saum ist noch ein wenig Organza(?)stoff dran genäht, so dass es ein wenig wirkt als hätte man einen farblich passenden Unterrock drunter.Schade finde ich nur, dass man es laut Etikett nicht in der Waschmaschine sondern nur mit der Hand waschen darf.
